Our boat, The Cetacean, is "state of the art"! Coast guard certified, with twin diesel engines, the Cetacean is capable of reaching speeds up to 30 knots per hour. At its peak performance you will experience the thrill of open waters with the smoothness and safety only a catamaran can deliver! Rain or shine, this boat will cater to your every need. The custom heated cabin is simple in design and seats 12 effortlessly. With full-length, tinted sliding windows, visibility is assured for all adventurers! Complete with a cozy washroom all passengers will enjoy a comfortable excursion. The upper viewing deck is a photographers or videographers dream! Offering an unhampered view for all observers even when at maximum capacity! Life jackets are not required but are available in all sizes for those wishing to feel more at ease on the water. Naturally Saltys' skippers have over 15 years of experience on the coast of British Columbia. Both skippers are knowledgeable naturalists and are enthusiastic about marine life and the environment surrounding Victoria. Among their many attributes is their desire to educate children young and old about our world's magnificent and inspiring marine mammals!
