Our Mission!
Island Institute is a family owned and operated, island based company
offering marine adventures for schools, groups, and families in the
San Juan Islands. In its 12th year, Island Institute is recognized
as a leader in the marine adventure business and has served diverse
groups and schools from around the world. Guided activities include
sea kayaking, whale watching, tidepooling, photographing wildlife,
birdwatching, hiking, and more.
